Hey Mike Congratulations on the toy line! That rocks and is absolutely fantastic! I am really excited for you! Let me know when the items will be released and I’ll review them in my toy review column on www.theadultwebmaster.com and hopefully you’ll let me interview you as well! As for this from your recent column:
“So why is it everyone seems to be pointing the finger of blame at us? Child abusers go where the children are, there are no children in porn.”
Go to Phil Burress’s site (citizens for community values guy) at www.ccv.org and you’ll see that he believes porn consumption leads adults to become pedophiles. This site is a good look in to the thinking that some people have on this issue. I think you’d find it an interesting read (well he’s a lunatic, so it’s interesting for that alone!).
Again Congrats on the toy line (love the packaging!)
Jen
Ya I know he SAYS he believes that but I don’t think he really does, he is just doing what “all good christians” do and trying to stamp out behaviour that he doesn’t like by wrapping it in a child pornography cloak. The idea isn’t to end child abuse, the idea is to end mine and your rights to view adult material if we so choose. Now about that packaging for the toy line…Have you had your glasses checked lately?

But SEX is SO much more dangerous than tobacco and alcohol! Ask any fundamentalist.
<< This legislation presumes that we are guilty and makes us prove our innocence.>>
Not at all! It’s the type of *regulation* that takes place in many businesses. Forcing a manufacturing plant to install a railing on a walkway doesn’t presume anyone has had or is going to have an accident there; it’s just a *precaution.* Of course, it’s also a pain in the ass — but how many gov’t regulations do you know that AREN’T?
<< We are forced to turn over evidence without the need for a search warrant or any probable cause that a crime has been commited.>>
Their argument, of course, is that the mere possibility that someone of 17 yrs. 11 mos. or younger MIGHT be performing sex on camera far outweighs any violation of your First Amendment rights for having to make sure they are at least 18.

I have no doubt they’d bust you for it. Whether you’re “in violation” would then be a matter for a judge and jury. Always back up your files!
<< Y’all know how adamant I am about this biz policing itself and working to make the industry more responsible but this seems to be a clear violation of several constitutionally protected rights, including the models right to privacy. >>
No argument from me.
<< Maybe someday Washington will get off their collective asses and do something constructive to help end the sexual exploitation of children.>>
I’m waiting for good robot kid models to be produced, so pedophiles can abuse robots to their hearts’ content. Beyond that, I don’t see a solution.
Psychiatric treatment of pedophiles doesn’t seem to cure the urge; drugs are only effective if one takes them, and the world’s largest kiddie porn collection reportedly sits in a government warehouse somewhere.
Don’t know what it is that impels some folks to want to have sex with kids — but then again, I’ve also never seen the attraction of virgins. I mean,
would you hire a plumber to fix your sink, whose only qualification was that he’d never worked on a pipe before?

Hey Mark..I’m not trying to beat up on the FSC (That’s Coming Later Actually) but howcum they aren’t all over this…This is one they could win.

Damn Mike.
I read you sometimes and think, “what a fucking idiot.” I read you at other times and think, “he’s on to something there.” Tonight I read you and couldn’t help saying, “RIGHT THE FUCK ON MIKE!” Damn well written piece on all points and I 100% agree.
Keep the fight! See ya at Internext!
Wank
Thanks Wankus….and I’m so glad you don’t always agree with me cuz if you did then one of us isn’t needed on earth and I’d hate to see you die….Yer funny if for nothing else the mating dance between Gene and John T Bone you got going on over there….why don’t they just fuck already…..Oh and I ain’t going to Internext I will be at Mexico Beach teaching Adella, Carly and Jesse Jane topless fishing…..OK I may be dreaming about the topless part…
I Have Something To Say, and Porners Should Give This a Read:
With all the upcoming hoopla on the new changes to 2257 and all I did a little research on who actually sexually abuses children….
NEWSFLASH!!!!
It ain’t us!
Your underage son or daughter is:
OVER 100,000 times MORE likely to be sexually abused by a family member or a friend than by someone in the adult industry
OVER 10,000 times MORE likely to be sexually abused by a clergy member than by someone in the adult industry
OVER 10,000 times MORE likely to be sexually abused by a teacher or daycare provider than by someone in the adult industry
OVER 10,000 times MORE likely to be sexually abused by a complete stranger than by someone in the adult industry
OVER 1,000 times MORE likely to be sexually abused by a member of the American Family Association than by someone in the adult industry
So why is it everyone seems to be pointing the finger of blame at us? Child abusers go where the children are, there are no children in porn.
This leads me to another thought and that is whether the record keeping Act would hold up in the first place. Sure we have a responsibility in this biz to make sure that whoever works for us is of legal age but what about people who sell tobacco and alcohol, they are equally if not more dangerous to children. Do they have to keep a record of every sale?
This legislation presumes that we are guilty and makes us prove our innocence.
We are forced to turn over evidence without the need for a search warrant or any probable cause that a crime has been commited.
The new changes place unnecessary burdens on the manufacturers in how the files are required to be maintained, it isn’t as simple as keeping IDs. we have to ID every photo, every performer, every alias the performer ever filed under, every video and it must all be cross referenced. I do this on a database, but what if they came in and claimed they couldn’t access the server? Would I be in violation? and assuming that everyone is over 18 exactly what crime was commited other than the records weren’t available at the time of inspection? Y’all know how adamant I am aboutthis biz policing itself and working to make the industry more responsible but this seems to be a clear violation of several constitutionally protected rights, including the models right to privacy.
Maybe Kernes can explain it.
Maybe someday Washington will get off their collective asses and do something constructive to help end the sexual exploitation of children.
Thanks To Mark and All the Folks at The Blue Pages and at Secretvenues:
For treating me so well in Toronto! Destiny St Claire is a little doll for sure, seems like the kind of girl Wicked would want for a contract girl, maybe Brad Armstrong should call her soon and ask her for a date, that seems to be how ya do it there.
