He is wrong and he is on a roll about it

About twice a year he regurgitates the idea that AVN has been sold, one day maybe he will be right, but so far he is about 0 and 6 so I wouldn’t bet on the next one or the one after or the one after that being any more accurate. Matter of fact accuracy is one thing totally lacking over there.

I have the facts….AVN has NOT been sold

and Dan Miller is not leaving or being replaced.  AVN is hiring someone to help ease some of his workload.  When you want the facts come to me. When you want invective, hyperbole and inaccuracy go to the lesser sites.

Ron Sullivan aka Henri Pachard passed away on Saturday as I was en route to Los Angeles.  he will be missed by many in the industry.  Ron was a nice man, who always had a smile and kind words for me.

Many people in the biz loved Henri, he was a kind and gentle fellow.  He will be missed.

AVN is reporting that Missy has passed from an apparent accidental overdose, it is not being ruled as a suicide.

I had the pleasure of once working with Missy and I remember her as a quiet but very nice person.

Apparently she passed about a month ago but her family wanted no people from adult at the funeral so they kept it quiet.

Missy was 41.

I’d rather go to Hell than to Los Angeles.

But the premiere wasn’t being held in Hell.

So Saturday at 6AM I found myself boarding a plane for Los Angeles to attend the premiere of Digital Playgrounds long anticipated sequel to “Pirates”

I want to thank Digital Playground and Joone personally for extending the invitation to Kayden Kross and myself. Additionally I want to thank Adella for personally seeing to it that we were treated like porn royalty. It was a class act and a classy affair, everyone involved should be proud.

It’s rare that anyone in porn goes out of their way to make the industry look good and even rarer when they drop a massive amount of money to do so. “Pirates 2, Stagnetti’s Revenge” is a milestone, it has been a long time since anyone has produced a movie that marries entertainment and eroticism and it has never been done with such ambition and style.

It is very difficult to list all the standout moments but expect to hear a lot about the Jesse Jane Belladonna girl/girl scene.  Kudos to Belladonna  as well on seriously good acting. Personally I thought Katsuni was the real standout, she never got out of character and she made a role that was comparatively small really stand out, giving her character a reality that few if any adult actresses are capable of doing, she is highly deserving of a best supporting actress win on this one. There were a lot of bit parts and non sex roles in this movie that displayed real acting talents well.

“Pirates, Stagnetti’s Revenge” is a must see for raincoaters and for those who appreciate a story and some pretty damn good visual effects as well. look for it to clean up at the AVN Awards…..and I mean clean UP!

Personally, it was my first trip to Los Angeles in 4 years, it was good to see many old friends Tod Hunter, David Sullivan, Roy Karch, Holly Randall, Roger T Pipe, Gram Ponante, Jared Rutter, RobbyD, Jules Jordan, Celeste, Sunny Lane, Moxie Maddron, Tony Batman, Dr X, David Aaron Clark, and prolly a hundred others it was good to see everyone.

And finally a word to Kayden Kross:  You are a class act baby and I am proud of you.

Then at the peak of her career, she dropped out. I heard a lot of rumors as to why, they ranged from drugs to her work with Max Hardcore  to a new boyfriend.

A couple months ago rumors started that she was dead, most attributed it to suicide.  I googled her real name and found nothing to support those rumors.  This week an obituary for her has come to light on several chat boards and on Gram Ponantes site.

It saddens me as it always does when something like this comes to pass. It’s hard not to wonder if somehow I played a part in it.

Rest In Peace Elena

OK I know its pretty much old news if you are a Mia fan but it got me thinking today. I first met Mia at a Tampa Show a couple of years ago and right from the start I liked her. She wass fun, energetic, enthusiastic and happy, and I hope she still is.

I thought about calling her today but decided to let her be, she has probably answered enough questions and I have found that when a girl decides to leave the biz and means it she generally isnt interested in maintaining contact with the biz.

Mia wasn’t what you would call a classic beauty like her sister Ava, but she seemed to have more of what I call a “star quality” nothing against Ava but Mia seemed more at home in porn, more happy to be here, she liked people, was outgoing and fun.

Another thing I noticed was she photographed beautifully.

She always said nice things about me too….I wish her all the best.

Fri night at the club one of Tim’s peelers comes to see us in the DJ Booth she isn’t working but is dressed very nice. She has brought her hubby to the club on their first night alone in 5 years (they have 5 kids)

Tim said why are you HERE?

She said “I needed to buy hubby a VIP dance.”
