I got several people alerting me to this one. Seems TJ Cummings is opening social media accounts under his real name Nick Di Ruscio and trolling for girls.
Of course, when he does hit on a girl online, he forgets to mention that he is HIV positive.
This wouldn’t be the first time. You may recall that Nick/TJ tried to book a scene with Pressley Carter after getting a positive HIV test.
I am also hearing that TJ Cummings is telling people that he is not HIV positive and may be offering falsified test results as proof.
Just a heads up to people in the biz…..

I hate these posts. You don’t actually have information, but you’ve decided that rumor is just as good. If it’s true, it’s one thing. But this disingenuous “just asking” smear stuff is like the NY Post. Have you reached out to him to ask?

If TJ is on effective antiretrovirals he may not be offering falsified tests, he may be presenting ‘undetectable’ screening tests with the intent to deceive as to his known antibody status. It sickens me to think he is attempting to garner ‘informed consent’ using undetectable viral loads as equivalent to HIV-.
Even more serious is assuming you’re making an informed choice because you trust those informing you. I have no interest or stake in what tests you choose to determine your comfort level, but hope you’ll base those decisions on accurate information.
Performers uncomfortable with HIV+ in any way need to know about antibody and antigen tests and their uses as well as the limitations of DNA/RNA tests.
On a separate note, because you are uncomfortable working with HIV doesn’t mean everyone is. Without getting into all the inconsistencies and inaccurate information presented by the industry, it’s important to note that little has been said about how long it takes for antiretrovirals to become effective and able to test at ‘undetectable levels’ I’m not a doc but will point out that pregnant women are tested in their first and third trimester for administration of medications to prevent HIV+ babies. Common sense tells me that at six months to the day from his test leading to diagnosis it’s possible TJ has undetectable levels of HIV.
Make wise informed choices that correspond to your comfort level.

Please. The tweets above come from him flirting with a woman who posted bikini pics. Of course, nothing is innocent, so that tweet turned ugly — first Alana Evans jumps on to kindly remind everyone he’s positive (conveniently cropped out here, along with the original tweet, which might have given us context), then passing it along to you so that we can hear accusations that he’s trying to purposely infect people THROUGH TWITTER.
Considering the fact that he’s also been contacting anyone and everyone who owns a website that identified him as HIV positive, demanding they remove such references, you have to admit, this story combined with that info is a tad suspicious, no?
Not until I’m hearing actual facts, and not hearsay on Twitter. What I think it suspicious is when tweets are cropped to looks suspicious, and when people make claims that are unsubstantiated. I’m not saying that any of this isn’t true — WHO KNOWS! IT COULD BE! — but unless I actually hear from real people, I might as well be watching an episode of Ancient Aliens. Otherwise, it’s just shitty gossip to me.

Regardless of how well intentioned many folks are; this situation once again highlights the need for accurate industry standards and a reliable method that respects all comfort levels with respect to performer health.

He’s not supposed to contact you — you’re supposed to contact HIM if you’re going to post allegations so that he has a chance to answer the leading questions, or rebut if you’re making claims. Otherwise, it’s just rumor mongering. I don’t know TJ from Adam, but I thought he was treated really poorly when he tested positive, and there were plenty of leading questions that amounted to nothing. So while I’d love to trust that you, you’ll forgive me for being suspicious.
“undetectable levels of HIV” does not mean you are cured. I’m sorry but if you do your research you will see there is very much a difference. And what if he gets off of his meds or something unknowingly interferes with his meds and his levels all of the sudden become detectable … and the girl in question doesn’t know, and now she’s having sex with a guy whose viral load is quickly climbing.
For a comment thread that started with “if” on an article that started with “Is?”, this escalated pretty quickly. You can count all we know about this situation on a selectively cropped Twitter post. I don’t know who this chick is that he may be trying to fuck but if the answer to your question is yes and he is not revealing his HIV status to whoever he fucks (or attempts to) TJ should go to prison. I hope for everyone’s sake TJ is not lying or withholding his positive HIV status when he dates or hooks up with someone. Thank you for giving the industry the heads up.

He’s come out publicly (and repeatedly) saying he’s HIV+. Given that his positive status is pretty well known — I mean, he came out publicly about it in December, and it’s not hard for anyone to find it, and he just reiterated it recently — I find the idea that he’s trying to pass it off otherwise laughable. It doesn’t pass the smell test. However, he’s also claimed that people are actively trying to defame him. Given what I’ve seen in this industry around HIV witch-hunts, that seems very likely. The idea that people with HIV are actively trying to spread it is a moral panic narrative that goes back to the early days of the epidemic, but has never really born out in actuality.
