CNBC Says "Mike South - South is the Nikki Finke of the porn industry. His blog, which is never short on opinion, is a must-read among industry insiders. His style is unique, but he is also a leading agent of change within the industry. There are few fence-sitters when it comes to opinions about South, but no one ignores him."

Update on Toby Dammits Death

“Another dear friend of Tony’s who is with the family this morning asked if I would update his friends with some information about his passing to prevent any misunderstandings. Tony suffered from a pulmonary embolism, which is a blood clot that started in his leg and circulated up to his lungs. He passed away peacefully on New Year’s Day at 10:07pm sitting in his chair at his residence watching TV. I, like so many others, am deeply saddened by the loss that we all share of our dear friend Tony, but am assured that we will be comforted by our fond memories and our love which will remain very much alive. Tony was one of the most fun people to be around, and was deeply loved and respected. He had great character and a heart of kindness and generosity that was felt by everyone who knew him. Tony’s friendship was a blessing to me and a good friend for many years. You will be forever in our hearts Tony.”
