Why? Because irrationality lies at the heart of your industry. It is it's life blood. Anybody who is willing to suckle upon is for his very existence must, necessarily, have some of it pumping through his veins aswell.
You can't understand why pornographers subtly orchestrate their own failure? Because they believe in failure. They own it, they exploit, they live because of it. Every one of their customers, to whatever extent, does the same thing for the same reason.
