  • Good point.

I have long told people around here that I am a jobs program for the otherwise unemployable LOL

Could you possibly be any more superficial and opportunist?

Escaping reality is not possible. escapism is just that; an attempt to escape the unescapable. if you were really concerned with straigtening out this country's financial problems, you would be attempting to understand them deeply; and not treating them as fodder for cheeky newstainment. Which, ironically, is exactly the type of short-term, pragmatic mentality that got us into this mess. Only just on a greater, more respectable scale; where they deal in raw materials and commodities instead of flesh.

Sure, it's an indisputable fact that irrational people, when faced with the long-term consequences of their long-term irrationality, predictable, pathologically turn to even more irrational forms of escape for solace; but is this some sort of new discovery in human history? No, it's not. It's certainly not a justification for it.

You're nuts. To quote a forgotten source: "A wise man speaks when he has something to say, a fool speaks because he thinks he has to say something."

Hey turtleturtle, I feel like I am on a desert road trip with Jim Morrison after reading your comment. All I can say is thank you for reading. I wish I could give you a more proper reply, but I can't understand what the hell you are saying. Thanks again...

Thanks for the link lilgerry. I don't understand how anyone can justify this kind of hypocritical thinking. These types of stories give me an instant migraine.
